Beulah Welcomes National Baptist Convention

At Beulah, we believe in helping you get where God wants you to be. We thank God for the visionary leadership of Pastor Jerry D. Black. Pastor Black and the Beulah family welcome the National Baptist Convention to Atlanta, Georgia. Services and sessions are being held throughout the week at the World Congress Center beginning with a Pre-Convention Service tonight at 7 pm at the Omni Hotel and a Pre-Convention Musical tomorrow, Monday, September 3 at 7 pm at the World Congress Center.

2012: The Year of Victory! God has spoken. Let the Church Say Amen. Let Everybody Say Amen at our 2^nd Annual Family and Friends Day, Sunday, September 30, 2012 during both our 7:30 am and 10:45 am worship services. Invite your family and friends to celebrate the Victory with us.  . 

Missions Month

Missions for Victory – Soul Winning

Our special Mission Intercessory Prayer Night will be held on September 21 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.  Please come, bring your families and friends.  Reverend Jackie Robinson and Reverend Michael Lewis will bless our souls with the anointed word of God at our Mission Day services on Sunday, September 23.  Our mission workshop is scheduled on September 27 and 28 at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Come join us in all scheduled activities and events and receive a blessing far above measure. The Missions Ministries at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, have claimed the victory as being “soul winners” in 2012.

Children’s Church Volunteers

Our Children’s Church is seeking volunteers. Make an eternal difference in the life of the children and Beulah and serve with this growing ministry. Registration is available online at beulahbaptist.org for teachers, substitute teachers, and monitors.

Beulah Youth Basketball/Cheerleading League is looking forward to another spirit filled year working with the youth of Beulah and the community in the youth basketball/cheerleading program. Registration will begin on Sunday, September 9, 2012 and continue through October 31, 2012. The League is seeking coaches to work with ages players 6 through 16 and cheerleading coaches to work with ages 6-13.  Practice will begin October 1, 2012 in the family life center from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for all age groups. The first coaches meeting will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 6:00 pm in the Family Life Center. Contact the Basketball League on the lower level after each Sunday’s service or daily in the family life center.  or at 404 597-3561 for more information.

Our Covenant Couples are claiming "VICTORY IN MARRIAGE as they “STRENGTHEN THE CORD.”  This year's Couples Conference will take place October 26-27 here at Beulah. Additional Information and registration for the Conference are available on the lower level after each service or contact Reverend Jackie or Sister Helen Robinson for details.    

The Music Arts and Drama Department is extremely excited to announce auditions for its upcoming Christmas production entitled Sticks and Stones.   We are looking for children from the ages of 8-12 and adults from the ages of 25 to 65.  If this is you and you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the stage is calling your name, please come out to the auditions on Thursday, September 13th and Friday, September 14th from 6:00pm -9pm and on Saturday, September 15th from10am-12noon. All auditions will be held in the Family Life Center in Conference Room C. We look forward to seeing you there!
 

Women of Beulah … We are continuing to “Proclaim Victory in Jesus” for all of the miraculous things he has done and will continue to do for us. In October, we have another exciting activity on behalf of the Women’s Ministry. On Saturday, October 20^th, we will be taking a day trip to the Apple Festival. We have a day filled with fun, fellowship, great food and shopping. Tickets go on sale for this event beginning on Sunday, September 9^th through Sunday, September 23^rd after both Worship Services. The total cost is $25 which includes your admission’s ticket and bus transportation. Only a limited number of seats are available so hurry and purchase your tickets.

Dawnbreakers Toastmaster Club will sponsor a free Job Seminar to give tips and insights on how to prepare and land your next employment opportunity. The Job Seminar is September 22, 2012, 12 - 2p in the Beulah Community Family Life Center, Conference Rooms A & B.  Come hear topics such as the “One Thing You Should Never Do on An Interview,” “How to Dress,” “What are the Top 10 Questions An Employer Will Ask,” and “Salary Negotiations and Resume Writing.” The resume of the first 10 people who arrive and sign up for resume critiquing will be reviewed.

The Risk Management Department will conduct the Safeguarding against Child Abuse Training, Monday, September 10, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This training is required for all individuals who work with our youth and young people.  This session is he last opportunity this year to meet the requirement for completing the training.
